Hello hello! Aimara here…
For a little while now, we’ve been wanting to start a new series featuring our favorite #StyleBosses. Well we couldn;t think of a better way to start than with Jennifer Worman of Red Soles and Red Wine!? Not only does she have a successful blog, but she’s also the CEO and Co-founder (with her sister Tiffany) of the well known brand T + J Designs.
Brea Grant, most well known for her role as “speedster” Daphne on NBC’s hit show “Heroes”, and Mya Rockwell in the upcoming film Halloween 2 (which hits theatres on August 28), is a busy bee who still finds time to give back to charity… Right now? She’s doing it through fashion!
tristinstyling project, is launching its first signed celebrity piece in collaboration with Mango Pop, Blacklava, and Brea Grant. Future celebrity pieces will include celebrity second hand or red carpet pieces!
100% off all proceeds will go to charities and/or non-profit organizations! That’s right, a project from the heart. August ’09 donations will be going to IMPACT Personal Safety and TNKat. Click the links for more details on the organizations and what they’re all about!
Fans who make a donation through the end of August 2009 or until all gifts are sold out (whichever comes first), will receive an autograph and gym bag featuring a silk screened graphic by Mango Pop, custom designed for tristinstylingproject. Polyvore is a vibrant community of stylish people who create “sets” using a free, easy-to-use web-based application for mixing and matching images from anywhere on the web.
Starting now through Friday, July 24, 2009, tristinstyling, and social media marketing guru, Laura Roeder, have teamed up with Polyvore to feature Brea’s stylish and creative fans on the web!
Polyvore members will be using the editor tool to create a red carpet look by incorporating at least one piece of jewelry from our featured jewelry designers, Jody McGill, Nina Nguyen, or Mimi Kim, or at least one item of clothing from featured clothing line, The Serpico Collection.
Brea’s stylist, Christine, will pick the winner who will receive a signed gift from Brea and get their photo, bio, and set featured here on our blog, followed by a tweet from Brea on her twitter profile to her 25,000+ followers!
Are you an aspiring stylist or Brea’s biggest fan? Here’s your chance to prove that you have what it takes!

1ofmykind jewelry by Jody McGill is another collection that made jaws drop around tristinstyling today!
The collection is so stunning that client, Brea Grant, even found herself telling her stylist, Christine, “I love this stuff! it’s so edgy and pretty at the same time!”
Jody is customizing Brea’s Steampunk Time Machine Ring (pictured left) as we type!
“Customized cause Brea’s a celebrity” you say? Nope! Celebrity or not, Jody’s rings are all customized to fit!
We’ve listed and linked Christine and Brea’s favorite pieces from their online shopping sessions below:
Swoop Earrings ($29.01)
Hover in Antique Sapphire ($39.01)
Steampunk Time Machine Ring ($129.01)
Stained Glass Window Earrings ($39.01)

When Miley Cyrus was seen on Regis & Kelly in Corey Lynn Calter’s Kassisdy Cocktail Dress (pictured left) last fall, stores sold out of the dress.
The piece originally retailed for $262.00 but is now on SALE for $183.00 online.

The thing I like about CLC’s designs is how most of her pieces are vintage inspired and detailed down to the button. My favorite, is the “Eva Lady Like Shirt Dress” because it’s a cut that works well with most body types.
Here are my top 5 Corey Lynn Calter pieces:
1. Tamara Pleated Tank Dress With Sash ($209.00)
2. Eva Lady Like Shirt Dress ($214.00)
3. Nellie Button Detail Dress ($224.00)
4. Francesca Drop Waist Ruffle Dress ($160.00)
5. Eva Button Front Shirt Dress ($230.00)
Rumor has it that Actress Hilary Duff is set to take on the role of Bonnie in a another movie called “The Story Of Bonnie And Clyde”
The film is said to be about Bonnie and Clyde, the famed criminals who captured the attention of the press and readers during public enemy era.
In May 2008, Duff appeared in Allure Magazine’s Bonnie and Clyde inspired photoshoot (pictured left) which shows how much she can resemble a young Faye Dunaway as Bonnie.
Production is set to begin in April.
If this is all true, I’m excited to see what the wardrobe team is going to put together.

Julia Lintern, started her career as a structural aerospace engineer. Being a closet fashion designer, she launched her 1st fashion label, Molly Spinach in 2004.
Upon seeing how her spunky label gradually transformed into more sophisticated and complex designs, the new high-end outerwear label Lia Lintern has been created to debut in Winter of 2009.
Though each piece can seem too high on the price point scale, consider that each coat, made of cashmere and wool, is custom-made to fit based off of your bust, waist, hips, and arm length measurements upon ordering..
Anna K, my favorite piece, is pictured below:
From left to Right:
Eva Mendes looked amazing in her strapless Christian Dior dress and Casadei shoes. She accessorized her look with a Ferragamo bag, and turquoise Van Cleef & Arpels statement necklace.
Drew Barrymore looked glamgorgeous in her John Galliano for Christian Dior Couture gown and Roger Vivier shoes.
Angelina Jolie kept in nice and neutral in an Atelier Versace dress and Jimmy Choo. She accessorized her look with platinum jewelry by Neil Lane.
Olivia Wilde swept us away in a Reem Acra gown and Jimmy Choo shoes. She accessorized her gown with Van Cleef & Arpel’s Socrate Diamond Earrings, and a Jimmy Choo clutch.
Maggie Gyllenhaal wore a leopard printed, one-shouldered turquoise Lanvin gown and shoes. She accessorized her look with Fred Leighton earrings.
Maggie Gyllenhaal, Angelina Jolie, and Eva Mendez, INF.
Olivia Wilde and Drew Barrymore, WENN.
Last night, Brea attended the HFPA Salute To Young Hollywood Golden Globe Party (held at Nobu).
Her dress by Los Angeles clothing designer, Jenny Han, whose designs are casual-chic and feminine was a perfect way to do all black.
Her necklace, by Portland jewelry designer, Amy Wing, is a perfect match to her clutch by accessory designer(s), Tivi, whom I’ve been a fan of for a while now.
Her boots and ring are both vintage pieces.
Last night I styled Brea in a dress by stopstaring.com for the Avakian Beverly Hills Boutique Celebration.
Stop Staring (as featured in our video “Online Shopping Session with Brea Grant“) features sexy silhouettes with a rockabilly, vintage 40’s and 50’s flair. They also design plus size pieces.
Right now, through December 15th, you can get 20% off your order. Just shop and the discount will be applied at checkout.
