Rockin’ the Valentino Rockstud Tote to Lunch at Rock Wrap & Roll

Valentino Rockstud ToteHello Everyone! Aimara here…

Last week we lunched at Rock Wrap & Roll, located at 2187 N Clybourn, in Lincoln Park. This Thai Food and Sushi Restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. With two executive chefs, Itti and Kit, they create traditional Thai dishes and artsy Sushi. Itti brings his impression of home-style Thai foods combining it with his personal search of ingredients, while Kit retains Japanese simplicity with fresh and natural taste toward every plate he carefully prepares.

We arrived with the mindset of not ordering so much food as our attempt to be good since we are both carrying a little bit of Holiday weight, (In my case more like an accumulation of 2014 and 2015’s, but who’s counting?) however, we surrendered after 5 minutes of checking out the menu and ordered enough food to feed an entire football team.

It was so hard to pick just one thing. We started off with this delicious Thai Iced Tea that was (almost) too pretty to drink. The arrival of each dish to our table had us cooing every time as their presentation was so good!

Check out this cute little snow man that sat on the side of the snowflake maki roll!

By the time the second round of food arrived, we were already so full… but I mean we had to try this calamari sushi. Doesn’t this food match perfectly with the Valentino Rockstud bag? There’s nothing more classic than a pop of red 😉

After we though we were done, this beautiful roll plated on a dish with a flamingo design arrived so naturally, we had to photograph it before stuffing our faces! It was spicy and delicious to the last bite. Presentation again perfect once again.

Christine ordered a tray for her kiddos to enjoy for dinner! The strawberry sushi roll was so different but delicious! We highly suggest it!

Keep in mind that this restaurant is BYOB and it’s closed on Sundays. For more info, check out Rock’s Wrap & Roll website.

Today’s look:

After days of single digit degrees, today was a breath of fresh air as it was a nice ‘warm’ 39 degrees so no need for a heavy coat!

Christine’s outfit was casual but looking fab as usual wearing a Chanel beanie, Oversized sweater from Kiz Chicago, Faux leather leggings, Burberry snow boots, Valentino Rockstud Shopper Tote and the Apple Watch.
